World Cup of Darts 2010

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The 2010 Cash Converters World Cup of Darts was a major tournament of the Professional Darts Corporation and was played from December 3rd to 5th, 2010 at the Rainton Meadows Arena . At the World Cup of Darts there is a team of two players per nation. The two best placed players of a nation always play and during the competition there are also double matches, which is not the case at any other PDC tournament.

Since it was the first edition, there were no defending champions. The first winner of the tournament was the Dutch team (consisting of Raymond van Barneveld and Co Stompé ), who were able to prevail in the final against Mark Webster and Barrie Bates from Wales .
