Steve Beaton (born April 5, 1964 in Coventry ) is an English darts player who won the BDO World Championship in 1996.
Beaton has several nicknames , but most people call him "The Bronzed Adonis" or "Magnum". He is known for his "soft" and fluid throwing style.
Beaton's other successes were reaching the finals of the European Darts Championship 2009, where he was defeated by Phil Taylor 3:11. Beaton also won the Winmau World Masters in 1993 and the Dutch Open in 1995 and 1996. However, he has not won any major PDC titles, he only has several semi-finals. He lives in Earl Shilton with his wife Nanette.
