Darius Labanauskas (born July 26, 1976 in Kaunas ) is a Lithuanian darts player . His nickname is Lucky D . He uses Infinity 2008 from Guru Josh Project as inlet music .

Career

Labanauskas started playing darts in 2004. From 2006 on he played in the tournaments of the BDO . At first, however, he only played in tournaments in the Baltic states . He stood out for the first time at the WDF Europe Cup 2012 when he surprisingly reached the final with his compatriot Arnuas Ciplys, but was defeated by the Dutch Jan Dekker and Christian Kist .

In 2015 Labanauskas made his debut at the BDO World Championship, but lost 3-1 in the first round to Robbie Green . However, he threw the highest checkout of the tournament with a 167 finish.

In 2017, Labanauskas reached the quarter-finals of the BDO World Cup, but lost to Glen Durrant 2: 5. In 2018 Labanauskas qualified for the PDC World Darts Championship 2019 via the PDC Nordic & Baltic Pro Tour . There he defeated ex-world champion Raymond van Barneveld in the second round .
