Andy Fordham (born February 2, 1962 in London ) is an English darts player . His nickname is "The Viking" ( Eng. The Vikings).

Fordham won the BDO's World Professional Darts Championship in 2004 when he defeated Mervyn King in the final. In February 2007 Fordham had to retire from the game operation for health reasons, but returned to the dartboard in September 2007 and reached the semifinals at the Turunc Open (Turkey).

Trivia

Fordham, who was a customs officer by trade and owned a bar in Thames-mead in south-east London, weighed at times almost 200 kg. Since increasing health problems in 2007 and he finally collapsed at the 2007 World Cup, he has lost over 60 kg. In 2008, however, it became known that he had cirrhosis of the liver due to a previous alcohol problem and needed a liver transplant. In 2017 he found his way back to darts.
