Bobbie Phillips (born January 29, 1968 in Charleston , South Carolina ) is an American actress .

Life

Bobbie Phillips began her career with the film TC 2000 and several other small films. She next appeared in the soap opera Reich und Schön , but dropped out after only a year. In 1994 she made some movies, but they remained largely unknown. The next year she made a guest appearance on the X-Files as Dr. See Bambi Berenbaum. This was followed by the role of Dee in the cult trash film Showgirls by Paul Verhoeven .

But her fame only rose by leaps and bounds with the role of Julie Costello in Murder One . This series, especially the first season, became a cult and street sweeper in the States. With the series Countdown X , she could not build on the success. Phillips' next film was the television production Chameleon - Spectacular Metamorphosis , in which she played the lead role of Kam. This film was very successful on television, so it had a few sequels. Bobbie Phillips had some offers again and was able to shoot another movie after three years with Carnival of Souls . The two chameleon sequels Death Match and Dark Angel established her as a television actress. In 2000 she was seen in the movie The American Virgin and in the German-Canadian production Die Abzocker - An ice cold affair .

Bobbie Phillips has retired from the film industry and runs a hotel with her husband . Since 2014 she has been active again as an actress.
