The Magnificent Seven was an American western series that was produced between 1998 and 2000.
action
A village is threatened by a Southern Army colonel who refuses to understand that the Civil War is over. Seven men band together to protect the village:
- Chris Larabee , gunslinger and leader of the Magnificent Seven
- Vin Tanner , bounty hunter
- Ezra Standish , cardsharp
- Josiah Sanchez , ex- preacher
- JD Dunne , greenhorn
- Buck Wilmington , womanizer
- Nathan Jackson , ex- slave
After repelling the attackers and rescuing the village, the Magnificent Seven stay together and settle in the nearby town of Four Corners , where they then fight for law and order.

The series is based on the western The Magnificent Seven by John Sturges , which in turn is a remake of the film The Seven Samurai by Akira Kurosawa . Robert Vaughn , who played the role of Lee in the 1960 film , has a recurring guest role as Judge Oren Travis in six episodes of the series .
As a pilot film, the first episode is double the length of 86 minutes.
