Alan Tabern (born September 29, 1966 in St Helens , Merseyside ) is an English darts player . His nickname is "The Saint".

Career

He made his debut in 2005 at the Professional Darts Corporation World Darts Championship with a win over Alex Roy . In the second round he failed to Mark Dudbridge . At the 2007 World Cup he reached the quarterfinals, where he lost 5-0 to the eventual winner Raymond van Barneveld . A year later he failed in the round of 16 against the thirteen-time world champion Phil Taylor .

At the UK Q-School 2020 Tabern managed to secure a Tour Card for the next two years.
