Chris Sørensen (born July 27, 1977 in Randers ) is a former Danish football player who was last active for the Danish second division club Vendsyssel FF.

Career

In the club

After youth clubs in his hometown of Randers, he moved to professional football in 2002 when he switched to Vejle BK . After playing here for two years, he moved to Odense BK in August 2004 .

Sorensen was the captain of Odense BK for many years. On January 4, 2012, he signed a contract until December 31, 2013 with Randers FC .

After 2.5 years in Randers, he switched to Vendsyssel FF.

In the national team

Sørensen was nominated by national coach Morten Olsen as part of the qualifying games for the European Championship 2008 . Here he played on October 17, 2007 against Latvia for the first time for the eleven of his home country. He had a total of five missions by 2009.
