Chris Warsawski (born August 13, 1992 in Merseburg ) is a German volleyball player .

Career

Warsawski comes from the offspring of VC Bad Dürrenberg / Spergau. After he had achieved first place in the regional league with the second team, he moved up to the Bundesliga team of Chemie Volley Mitteldeutschland in 2011 . After a season 2012/13 with the second division GSVE Delitzsch , Warsawski returned to chemistry volley, where he initially played in the regional league team again. In January 2014, the middle blocker moved up again in the Bundesliga team. In the summer of 2014, Warsawski moved to the second division club VC Bitterfeld-Wolfen . There Warsawski switched to the diagonal position and matured into a grown core force in the second division. In 2017, however, the Bitterfeld team had to let him move back to Chemie Volley in Spergau. Now at the third attempt at the pirates, Warsawski is celebrating the most successful phase of his career so far. In the 2017/2018 season as well as in the 2018/2019 season he and his team celebrated the championship in the second volleyball division .

After the 2019/2020 season had to be canceled in March 2020 due to the Covid-19 situation, the change from Warsawski to the LE Volleys was announced in June 2020 . This means that Warsawski will contest the 2020/2021 season in the southern season of the second volleyball division .

In addition, Warsawski has been playing for VC Timbuktu at the largest traditional tournament in his home country in Hüttenrode since 2014. Since then it has almost always been the same there. Timbuktu was the first men's team in the history of the tournament to win four times in a row (2014 to 2017) and Warsawski has always been a mainstay for his team. After a slight downfall in 2018 with 9th place, Warsawski and VC Timbuktu secured their fifth title in 2019.
