Christa Elsner-Solar

Christa Elsner-Solar (born December 22, 1946 in Einbeck ) is a German politician ( SPD ).

Life and work

After attending elementary school, Elsner-Solar trained as an educator from 1965 to 1968 and graduated in 1973 with a degree in social pedagogy. Afterwards she worked at various social institutions (including the workers' welfare and the Diakonisches Werk ).

Christa Elsner-Solar belongs to the Evangelical Lutheran Church and has lived in Hanover- Ahlem since 1977 .

politics

Elsner-Solar has been a member of the SPD since 1972. She was a member of the Lower Saxony state parliament from 1994 to 2003. In November 2005, together with Hans-Christian Schack , she moved into the state parliament again to replace the resigned members Sigmar Gabriel and Thomas Oppermann , to which she then belonged until the end of the 2008 election period.
