Christa Kratohwil

Christa Kratohwil (born May 6, 1944 in Vienna ) is an Austrian politician ( FPÖ ) and self-employed commercial agent. She was a member of the Lower Austrian state parliament from 1998 to 1999 and from 2002 to 2003 .

After elementary school, Kratohwil attended a secondary school and completed a commercial apprenticeship. In 1968 she became self-employed as a clerk and ran a trading agency. She became involved in local politics as a councilor in Berndorf in 1990, was elected a councilor in 1995 and was a councilor again from 2005. Kratohwil has been active again as a city councilor since 2010. On April 16, 1998 she succeeded Hans Jörg Schimanek in the state parliament, renounced her state parliament mandate for Schimanek on April 14, 1999 and moved into the state parliament again on October 3, 2002, this time for Wolfgang Haberler . After losing the state elections in Lower Austria in 2003 , Kratohwil left the state parliament on April 24, 2003.
