Christa Weinrich
Christa Weinrich , religious name Sister Christa (* 1950 ) is a German Benedictine , horticultural engineer and author.
Life
In 1976 Christa Weinrich entered the Benedictine Abbey of St. Mary in Fulda. From 1979 to 1982 she studied horticulture at the Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences until she graduated as a horticultural engineer. Then she worked in the organically managed monastery garden. She also publishes the magazine Winke for organic gardeners together with Mely Kiyak , gives lectures, organizes seminars on ecological horticulture and has published specialist books in German and Czech.
