Christel Fechner (born June 25, 1964 ) is a Belgian swimmer who specializes in swimming in individual swimming pools . She took part in the 1980 Summer Olympics for Belgium . She trained at the Kortrijkse Zwemkring in Heule .
Career
As a 16-year-old, Fechner was registered by the Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee for the 1980 Summer Olympics in Moscow , where she started the 400-meter indoor swimming pool . In her preliminary run she took fourth place and was eliminated from the competition. Her personal best is 4: 56.92 minutes.
