The Church of the Resurrection of Christ (lit. Kauno Kristaus prisikėlimo bažnyčia ) is a Roman Catholic basilica in Kaunas , Lithuania .

The church is located in the Žaliakalnis district . The parish church belongs to the 1st deanery Kaunas in the Archdiocese of Kaunas and is the main church of this deanery.
history
The church was built in 1940 in the New Objectivity style. After being profaned for a long time by being used as a factory under Soviet occupation, it was re-consecrated on December 26, 2004. In 2015 it was awarded the rank of Basilica minor by Pope Francis .
