The Christiaensen Glacier ( French Glacier Christiaensen ) is a glacier in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . In the Queen Fabiola Mountains it flows west between Mount Eyskens and Mount Derom .
Participants in a Belgian Antarctic expedition that lasted from 1959 to 1961 discovered it on October 7, 1960. Expedition leader Guido Derom (1923–2005) named the glacier after Leo Christiaensen, captain of the ship Erika Dan , with which the expedition members traveled to their target area.
