Mount Derom ( French Mont Derom ) is a 2400 m high mountain in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It rises immediately south of Mount Eyskens in the Queen Fabiola Mountains .
Participants in a Belgian Antarctic expedition lasting from 1959 to 1961 discovered it on October 7, 1960. The Center National de Recherches Polaires de Belgique (National Center for Polar Research in Belgium) named the mountain after the expedition leader Guido Derom (1923-2005).
