Christian Bermúdez (born April 26, 1987 in Nezahualcóyotl , Edo. De México ), also known by the nickname Hobbit because of his small size , is a Mexican football player who predominantly acts in midfield .

Life

"El Hobbit" Bermúdez began his professional career in 2006 at Club Atlante , for which he completed his first game in the Mexican top division on August 19, 2006 in a home game against San Luis FC , which was won 1-0. He scored his first goal in the first division on March 3, 2007 in a home game for a 1-0 lead against “old arch rivalsNecaxa (final score 3-0). In the Apertura 2007 he won the Mexican championship title with the Atlantistas and in the 2008/09 season he won the first edition of the newly formed CONCACAF Champions League with a final victory against Mexican league rivals Cruz Azul .
