Christian Binder (cook)
Christian Binder (* 1983 in Berlin ) is a German chef.
Career
Binder completed his training with Michael Hoffmann in the Margaux restaurant (one Michelin star ). In 2008 he went to Steinheuer's restaurant (two Michelin stars) at Hans Stefan Steinheuer's in the Alte Post in Bad Neuenahr . Here he met his daughter Désirée Steinheuer. The two became a couple and went on a study trip to Shanghai, to London to Marcus Wareing and finally to Nils Henkel in the Schlosshotel Lehrbach in Bergisch Gladbach , he as the sous chef in the kitchen, she as the restaurant manager. In 2014 they will return to the Alte Post .
In 2015, Binder took over the post of head chef in Steinheuer's restaurant from his father-in-law , which continues to receive two Michelin stars under him.
His wife Désirée Steinheuer was voted Sommelière of 2020 by Falstaff .
