description

The hall church consists of a rectangular nave and a recessed, square choir tower in the east. The gable roof of the nave and the top of the tower are slated . The tower attachment consists of a square part with bevelled corners. On it rises an eight-sided retracted part, which is covered by a hood , which in turn is crowned by a helmet . Three cast steel bells hang in the tower , cast in 1921. The gable on the west side has a gable cornice . In it, as well as on the long sides of the nave, there are three ogival high windows. The middle one is lower because a portal was built under it . The nave has two-storey galleries and pews with brown paint and economical gilding. The church hall and the choir are covered with plastered flat ceilings . They are separated from each other by a Gothic triumphal arch . The sacristy is separated by a wooden partition behind the modern, walled-up altar . It is provided with stencil painting, which consists of 36 narrow fields decorated with tracery . The pulpit on the left of the triumphal arch is from 1862, its rise comes from a more recent past. Opposite her is a small ambo . There is a baptismal font in front of the pulpit . It has a lid to protect it from contamination and evaporation. Behind the baptismal font there is a baptismal angel that is missing its arms today. The old sacrament house is decorated with paintings that still show the outlines of two angels with incense barrels . Its old lattice door is still preserved. It's behind the ambo today. The organ with 16 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built in 1801 by Friedrich Wilhelm Dornheim.
