Ardiansyah

Ardiansyah (born December 5, 1951 in Banjarmasin , † October 28, 2017 in Jakarta ) was an Indonesian chess player .

He won the Indonesian championship five times: 1969, 1970, 1974, 1976 and 1988. He played for Indonesia at eleven Chess Olympiads: 1970 - 1974 , 1978 - 1990 , 1996 . He also took part in the Asian team championships four times (1977-1979, 1987-1989).

In 1969 he became International Master, and since 1986 he has held the title of Grand Master.
