Christian Bollmann (football player)

Christian Bollmann (born May 3,  1989 in Braunschweig ) is a German football player .

career

Bollmann started playing football at 1. FFC Braunschweig in 1999, after having previously practiced athletics , among other things . In 2008 he made the leap into the men's team of the Braunschweig Lions . The 1.97 meter wide receiver  became German champions in his first Bundesliga year, further championship titles followed in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2019, and he won the 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 with the team Eurobowl . Bollmann was invited to a trial training session by the Detroit Lions NFL team in May 2012, but subsequently received no contract.

National team

With the German national team, Bollmann became European champion in 2010. At the 2011 World Cup, he reached fifth place with Germany. In 2017 he moved into the final with the national team at the World Games , but lost there.
