Christian Caillat (born February 15, 1974 in Marseille ) is a former French handball player .

The 2.02 meter tall and 93 kilogram right-handed player played in the left back position .

Christian Caillat began his career as a professional handball player in Aix-en-Provence, then played in Lille, Marseille, again in Lille and until 1999 again in Aix-en-Provence. From 1999 to 2000 he was under contract with Istres Sports Handball, 2000 with Stralsund HV and then until 2002 in Livry-Gargan. From 2002 to 2003 he played at Wilhelmshavener HV , from 2003 to November 2004 at TUSEM Essen and from November 2004 to May 2005 at HSG Wetzlar . From there he moved to the Rhein-Neckar Löwen in May 2005 .

From December 2007 he played with the Berliner Füchsen . This contract ran until the end of the 2008/09 season. After the season he moved to Coburg . The contract with HSC Coburg was terminated early on January 1, 2010. In the 2014/15 season he coached the German top division TV Jahn Duderstadt . From July 2015 to January 2016 he coached the second division club SG 09 Kirchhof . From January to July 2017 he coached the upper division HG Rosdorf-Grone. Then he took over the 2nd team of the Füchse Berlin . For the 2018/19 season he returned to TV Jahn Duderstadt.
