Christian Karl Kanne
Christian Carl Kanne (born December 22, 1744 in Wolkenstein ; † February 20, 1806 in Leipzig ) belonged to the Leipzig Circle of Friends of Johann Wolfgang Goethe and Johann Adam Horn (1749-1820).
He received his doctorate in law from the University of Leipzig in spring 1769 . At the beginning of May 1770 he married the Leipzig landlord's daughter Anna Katharina Schönkopf , who had a long-term love affair with the young student Goethe.
Later he was senator and assessor of the Oberhofgericht and the law faculty of Leipzig as well as Leipzig's deputy mayor.
