Christian Drebes

Christian Drebes (born January 3, 1828 in Bringhausen ; † September 21, 1900 there ) was a German landowner and politician .

Drebes was the son of Greben and Ackermann Philipp Drebes and his wife Katharina nee Höhle. He married Wilhelmine Dorothea Christiane Brühne on May 20, 1850 in Bringhausen. Drebes lived as a landowner in Bringhausen and was mayor there from 1855 to 1870. From 1878 to 1890 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Waldeck-Pyrmont . He was elected in the constituency Kreis der Eder.
