Christian Ernst von Kanne

Christian Ernst (from 1672 Freiherr von ) Kanne (* 1617 in Klöden ; † August 1, 1677 in Dresden ) was chamberlain of the Electorate of Saxony, high court marshal and governor of the offices of Schweinitz, Schlieben, Seyda, Annaburg and Graefenhainichen, chief tax collector and manor owner .

Life

He was the son of the later electoral chamberlain and owner of the two manors Klöden and Löwendorf , Bernhard Ludolph Kanne and Elisabeth born. von Wulffen. He entered the service of Elector Johann Georg I of Saxony at an early stage and was a. a. 1671 governor of the Graefenhainichen office , later also of Schweinitz, Schlieben, Seyda and Annaburg.

Christian Ernst Kanne acquired the paternal estate Klöden from his brothers Raban and Moritz Kanne in 1670 and left the Gentha manor to his younger brother Raban Kanne († 1674). In 1676 he sold Klöden to Margaretha Sibylla Löser geb. from Einsiedel.

Kanne was the wise member of the Fruitful Society .
