Christian Friedrich Rabe

Christian Friedrich Wilhelm Rabe (born April 27, 1837 in Berlin , † February 22, 1898 in Hanover ) was a German veterinarian.

Life

Christian Friedrich Rabe studied at the Berlin Veterinary School and became a member of the Corps Franconia Berlin. After completing his studies, he first worked as a practical veterinarian in Silesia before becoming a teacher of veterinary medicine at the Agricultural Academy in Proskau . In 1873 he was appointed professor at the Hanover Veterinary School , where he read about animal diseases until his death.

His son-in-law was the veterinarian and rector of the University of Veterinary Medicine Berlin Reinhold Schmaltz .
