Christian Gansch
Christian Gansch (* 1960 in Amstetten , Lower Austria ) is an Austrian conductor .
Christian Gansch studied piano and violin at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna . Born in Austria, he was concertmaster of the Vienna Chamber Orchestra from 1977 , and from 1981 to 1989 he was a member of the Munich Philharmonic. Gansch has been an international conductor since 1995. He has conducted the Russian National Orchestra, the German Symphony Orchestra Berlin and the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra and made his Proms debut, broadcast live by the BBC, at London's Royal Albert Hall .
