Christian Harbulot (born December 19, 1952 in Verdun ) is a French historian and economic advisor. Harbulot is the director of the École de guerre économique, a university that deals primarily with economic wars.

biography

Harbulot studied history at the Institut d'études politiques in Paris. During this time he mainly dealt with the comparison of political systems. Politically he was close to Maoism . In the wake of the murder of Jean-Antoine Tramoni, in 1972 the Maoists Pierre Overney had shot, he had to go because of its proximity to the Maoist groups in 1978 some time remand spend. Participation in the crime could not be proven.

In 1990 Harbulot became head of l'ADITECH (société nationale d'intelligence stratégique) an institute that deals primarily with external economic relations. Édith Cresson's attention was drawn to Harbulot's publications. Harbulot became Henri Martre's advisor for strategic planning.

Since 1997, Harbulot has headed the École de guerre économique with General Pichot-Duclos . In 2008 he was appointed first lieutenant in the reserve of the French army.

Positions

Harbulot advocates the thesis that the USA, as the "most powerful information empire of all time", aims to achieve global dominance with the help of information technology. But the People's Republic of China would also endanger the European states through its policies. Harbulot warns that the European states could become impoverished as a result of these developments.
