Christian Luidtke

Christian Luidtke , also Christian Lüdke and Christian Lüdeke (born January 11, 1621 in Stendal ; † October 30, 1686 ibid) was a German administrative lawyer , senior secretary, treasurer and mayor in Stendal.

Christian Luidtke was the son of the long-time mayor of Stendal Germanus Luidtke (1580–1672) and his wife Anna Krahn. In 1668 he married Maria Hedwig Schönebeck (1648–1713), the daughter of the married couple Benedikt Schönbeck and Maria Karstedt. The marriage resulted in three children, including the future archdeacon in Stendal Germanus Lüdke (1683–1735).

Direct ancestors are the Havelberg canon Matthäus Ludecus and the electoral Brandenburg chancellor Johann Weinlob .

By marrying Maria Hedwig Schönebeck, his descendants also belong to the Schönebeck Foundation .

Career

When his father Germanus Luidtke died in 1672 , he was already a councilor and city secretary in the council of the city of Stendal , and after that he was a regular councilor or treasurer and mayor in 1683 and 1685 .
