Christian Maria Anton von Wrede zu Melschede (born February 19, 1747 , † February 4, 1802 ) was canon in Münster and Osnabrück .

Life

Origin and family

Christian Maria Anton von Wrede zu Melschede came from the Westphalian noble family von Wrede . He was the son of Ferdinand Karl von Wrede and his wife Klara Lucia von der Asseburg zu Hinnenburg . His brother Engelbert Anton was a canon in Münster, as was his nephew Anton . On January 4, 1788, Christian received the Laer chaplain in the Diocese of Osnabrück. In 1791 Christian came into possession of a cathedral priest in Münster through an imperial decree, after being mediated by his brother Engelbert . In 1797 he also became canon in Osnabrück .
