Christian Philipp Herwig

Christian Philipp Herwig (* 1738 in Waldenburg ; † February 9, 1781 ibid) was a German physician , Physicus in Waldenburg and councilor of the Prince of Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst .

Life

Christian Philipp Herwig studied medicine with Heinrich Friedrich Delius at the University of Erlangen and became a doctor in Waldenburg after completing his doctorate . He later worked as a city and senior physician in Waldenburg and as a councilor to the Prince of Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst, Karl Albrecht I of Hohenlohe-Waldenburg-Schillingsfürst (1719–1793).

On February 6, 1769 Christian Philipp Herwig with the academic surname Hicesius III. under the matriculation no. In 713 he was elected a member of the Leopoldina Academic Academy .
