Christian Podbielski
Christian Podbielski (* 1741 in Königsberg i. Pr .; † January 3, 1792 ibid) was a German organist and composer.
Podbielski first studied Protestant theology at the Albertus University in Königsberg . After the death of his father he became an organist at the Königsberg Cathedral . He gave music lessons at the university. ETA Hoffmann was one of his students . Johann Friedrich Hartknoch in Riga published two collections of his compositions in 1780 and 1783 .
His daughter Karoline Amalie married Johann Michael Hamann . The son of Johann Georg Hamann became the rector of the old town high school in 1796 .
