Christian Preissler

Christian Preißler (born December 25, 1942 in Marienberg ) is a German engineer and politician ( SPD ) and former member of the Saxon state parliament .

Life

Christian Preißler attended the extended high school in Marienberg, where he also passed his Abitur. Then he was a smelter and waltz in Hettstedt and Riesa. This was followed by studies at the Bergakademie Freiberg , which he completed in 1967 with a degree in metal forming. He then worked as a technologist and independent development engineer at the Riesa pipe combine between 1967 and 1971. From 1971 Christian Preißler was a technical college lecturer at the Riesa engineering school and head of the research technology center. In 1986 he did his doctorate at the TU Chemnitz | TU Karl-Marx-Stadt as Dr.-Ing. for materials technology. From 1995 to 2005 he worked in the State Ministry of the Interior as a department head in the State Office for the Protection of the Constitution in Saxony.

Christian Preißler is married and has two children.

Christian Preißler was a member of the administrative and credit council of Kreissparkasse Riesa and a member of the supervisory board of Immobilien GmbH of Kreissparkasse Riesa. From 1990 to 1994 he was also a member and president of the Riesa district assembly and a member of the Saxon district assembly. From January 1990 to December 1994 he was also a member of the district committee of the SPD Riesa and sub-district chairman of the SPD for the districts of Riesa, Grossenhain and Meißen.

In October 1990 Christian Preißler was elected to the Saxon state parliament via the state list of the SPD Saxony, to which he belonged for an electoral period until 1994. In the Saxon state parliament he was a member of the interior, budget and finance committee, working group leader "Interior and Communal Affairs", communal policy spokesman for the SPD parliamentary group and deputy chairman of the Parliamentary Control Commission of the Free State of Saxony. Christian Preißler has been a member of the Friends of the Federal Academy for Security Policy in Berlin (BAKS) since 2004.
