Christian Puswald

Christian Puswald (born March 15, 1958 in Graz ) is an Austrian lawyer, politician ( SPÖ ) and former member of the Austrian National Council .

education and profession

Christian Puswald attended elementary school in Graz- Gösting elementary school between 1964 and 1968 and then moved to a federal high school in Graz, where he passed the Matura in 1976. Puswald then studied law at the University of Graz and graduated in 1980 with the academic degree Dr. iur.

From 1977 to 1982 Puswald was a study and contract assistant at the Institute for Austrian Legal History and at the Institute for Public Law at the University of Graz and was a trainee lawyer in Graz, Villach and Sankt Veit an der Glan from 1982 to 1985. He has been working as a lawyer in St. Veit an der Glan since 1985.

politics

Puswald came into politics as a lateral entrant and represented the SPÖ in the National Council between December 20, 2002 and October 29, 2006. According to his own statements, the main focus of his work as a member of parliament was economic and judicial policy.

Private

Puswald is divorced and has a daughter.
