Christian Rubio Sivodedov (born November 7, 1997 in Sundsvall ) is a Swedish football player who is currently under contract with Strømsgodset IF . His father is from Cuba , his mother from Russia . Rubio Sivodedov mainly plays in the defensive midfield .
Club career
Djurgårdens IF
Rubio Sivodedov started his career at Djurgårdens IF , where he worked in the youth department from 2004. He made his debut in the Allsvenskan during the 2014 season . In total, he made six league appearances and played another four games in various friendly matches. Parallel to his professional assignments, he also played a role in the squad planning of the U21 and U19 teams.
FC Schalke 04
In January 2015 he switched to the youth performance center of FC Schalke 04 , where he was initially used in the U19 team. He signed a contract valid until June 30, 2018. In the first half of the 2016/17 season he was part of the squad of the second team and was used in two games in the Regionalliga West .
Strømsgodset IF
In January 2017 he moved to Strømsgodset IF , where he signed a two-year contract.
National team
Rubio Sivodedov made his debut for Sweden's U-17s in 2012 . In total, he played seven games for Sweden's junior selection, where he was able to score one goal. Due to strong performances and his status as a professional player in Sweden's top division, he was appointed to the U-19 squad in 2014 , for which he played ten games.

Rubio Sivodedov plays in the position of six and "is considered one of the greatest Swedish talents, who is in great demand across the European market". The 1.76 meter tall Swede is considered a technically strong and very intelligent football player, as he is highly trained tactically.
