Christian Staffa

Christian Staffa (* 1959 in Essen ) has been the anti-Semitism officer of the Evangelical Church in Germany (EKD) for the period of office until 2022 since 2019 by decision of the EKD Council on October 18, 2019. He has been the director of studies at the Evangelical Academy since November 2013 Berlin .

Act

Staffa studied Protestant theology in Berlin , Tübingen and Prague . From 1999 to 2012 he was managing director of Aktion Sühnezeichen , which arranges international voluntary services for young people. The doctor of theology is committed to the Judeo-Christian dialogue and has dealt with the topic of right-wing extremism on several occasions . He is the author of numerous publications on anti-Semitism and group-related enmity .
