Christian Vorländer (lawyer)

Christian Vorländer (born December 7, 1973 in Beirut , Lebanon ) is a German lawyer , local politician ( SPD ) and television actor .

Life

Vorländer was born in Lebanon, where his parents were lecturers at an international university. After the outbreak of the Lebanese civil war , his family returned to Germany. He studied law in Munich from 1994 to 2000 and completed a semester abroad in London. In 2002 he passed his second state examination in law and is now (as of 2006) practicing as a lawyer in Munich-Schwabing. He worked for two parliamentary committees of inquiry ( Schreiber affair , LWS affair).

Vorländer has been a member of the SPD since 1989 and has been a member of the SPD Munich board since 2010. Politically, Vorländer is particularly committed to the rights of gays and lesbians in addition to other priorities.

He has been a member of the Munich City Council since the 2014 election . In 2020 he was re-elected for a second term.

In the 2009 Bundestag election he ran for the first direct mandate in the Munich-South constituency , but missed it with 28.4% of the vote. In the federal election in 2013 , he ran again, but lost his counter-candidate of the CSU , Peter Gauweiler .

From late 2002 to late 2012 Vorländer was as an actor one of the six defenders in the Sat.1 - court show Richter Alexander Hold to see and had small guest appearances on K11 - commissioners in use . He also had a guest role in the television film Das Total Verrückte Wunderauto from 2006. Since the end of September 2013 he has been in the new scripted reality show In the Name of Justice - We Fight for You! to be seen as a lawyer.
