Christian van Marwyck

Christian van Marwyck (born November 27, 1912 in Duisburg ; † unknown) was a German hygienist and microbiologist.

Christian van Marwyck studied medicine at the Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg . In 1932 he became a member of the Catholic student association KDStV Hercynia Freiburg im Breisgau in the CV . In 1939 he was at the Westphalian Wilhelms University of Münster with the work Therapeutic manipulation of pneumococcal and Streptococcensepticämien by AOI Bertra Munster to Dr. med. PhD . In 1949 he completed his habilitation. For many years he was a professor of microbiology at the University of Münster. He was director of the State Hygiene Institute in Bremen .

He has published over 60 scientific articles.
