Christiane Borgelt

Christiane Borgelt (* 1944 in Darmstadt ) is a German architect , urban planner and author .

Borgelt studied architecture at the Technical University of Berlin , passed the 2nd state examination in the field of urban development in Hesse , was a research assistant at the Technical University of Berlin and later received various teaching positions at the same university and at the Berlin University of the Arts .

Since 1980 she has been working as a freelance co-owner of an architecture and urban planning office. Her main focus is urban renewal, monument preservation , social city, art in architecture and the communication of architecture in numerous publications.
