Christiane Brehl

Christiane Brehl (born March 12, 1963 in Bad Honnef ) is a German journalist .

Life

She grew up in Bad Honnef , studied politics, English and history at the University of Bonn, and from 1984 to 1985 spent a year abroad at the American University in Washington, DC

While still a student, she started working for Westdeutscher Rundfunk as a radio presenter for WDR 2 . In 1989 she was approved for a traineeship at the Süddeutscher Rundfunk . Brehl then worked for the radio programs SDR1 and SDR3 as well as for SWR television . There she first guided through the program "Landesschau", from autumn 2002 she moderated the regional news program " Baden-Württemberg aktuell". Since February 2010 she has been head of department at SWR, HR development department.
