Christiane Frantz

Christiane Frantz (born September 1970 in Stolberg (Rhld.) In the Aachen city region ) is a German social scientist .

After graduating from the Goethe-Gymnasium in Stolberg in 1990, she studied political science , communication science and economic policy at the Westfälische Wilhelms-Universität (WWU) in Münster . Here she obtained her Magister Artium ( MA ) degree in 1996 . Three years later she was promoted to Dr. phil is doing his doctorate.

From October 1996 to April 1999 she was initially a research assistant at the Institute for Political Science (ifpol) in Münster. From May 1999 to October 2004 she worked as a research assistant. Christiane Frantz completed her habilitation in June 2004 and was a university lecturer at ifpol until 2006. Between 2006 and 2010 she was the spokesperson for the DFG graduate college "Civil Society Processes of Understanding from the 19th Century to the Present - Germany and the Netherlands in Comparison" and equal opportunities officer at the University of Münster. She has been an adjunct professor at ifpol since April 2011.
