Christiane Meier
Christiane Meier (* 1956 ) is a German TV journalist and presenter . Since July 1, 2018, she has been the director of the ARD studio in New York .
Life
Christiane Meier completed a traineeship at NDR and then worked as an editor for Radio Bremen and WDR . From 2000 to 2007 she was in the ARD studio in Washington, DC , where she was most recently the studio manager. From 2007 to 2012 she was the correspondent of the TV community editorial office in the ARD capital studio, which she took over from Werner Sonne in spring 2012 ; from July 2012 to June 2018 she was a correspondent for the ARD morning magazine .
