Christina Erbertz  (born March 30, 1973 in Bielefeld ) is a German screenwriter and writer. She conceived and wrote scripts for television series and films. She has been writing books for children and young people since 2013.

Career

Erbertz studied English literature at the Ruhr University in Bochum and screenwriting at the German Film and Television Academy in Berlin. She conceived and wrote seasons of the KiKA Christmas series Beutolomäus , including Beutolomäus sucht den Santa Claus (co-authors Anne Benza-Madingou and Kai Rönnau), which was awarded the Robert Geisendörfer Prize, as well as the feature film Beutolomäus und die Wunderflöte ( Co-author Jan Strathmann) . She was also an author for Löwenzahn , Wexe Lilli and Sesame Street . Since 2013 she has published four novels with Beltz & Gelberg.

Erbertz reads at schools in German-speaking countries and has been invited to festivals. a. Frankfurt Book Fair, Lit. Cologne or the Erlanger Poetenfest.

Erbertz lives in Berlin .

Awards

In 2016 she received the scholarship Struwwelpippi comes to the jumping procession of the city of Echternach, the Luxembourg Ministry of Culture and the Luxembourg Literature Archives. She received the Hans-im-Glück-Preis 2018 for her youth novel Three (almost) perfect weeks . The helicopter gang and the predator from China were in the final selection for the Zurich Children's Book Prize in 2019.
