The witch Lilli (English original title: Lilly the Witch ) is a German - Canadian - British cartoon series about a little witch , based on the children's books by Knister .

action

Lilli, a witch, finds the dragon Hector in a magic book . The two quickly become friends and both experience many adventures and travel through time. At the beginning of each episode, Lilli and Hektor learn in different ways about certain times and regions in past and future years. Then Lilli takes her hex book from under the bed and looks for the symbol that corresponds to the destination. Together with Hector she then speaks the following spell:

"Schinga Wingai
way we are two
birds like in a dream
Through time and through space"

Then the two "fly" through a time and space tunnel and arrive at the desired destination. For example, travel to the Wild West , and the Normans of the Vikings , the Dino Land, into Wonderland and other places. In ancient England they meet Robin Hood , in the Stone Age also the Stone Age boy Garg and other cave dwellers and in ancient Egypt Lilli and Hector discover an old pyramid. The episodes are based on Knister 's children's books . The German premiere was in October 2004.

From 2014 to 2015, KiKA and ORF EINS began broadcasting the third season, which was produced with a new design as a German-Austrian-Belgian co-production. The Austrian directors Conrad Tambour , Benjamin Swiczinsky and Johannes Schiehsl were responsible for the third season .
