Daniela Golpashin (born June 2, 1985 in Vienna ) is an Austrian theater and film actress and speaker.

Life and accomplishments

Golpashin is the daughter of an Iranian and an Austrian with Iranian roots. However, she has never been to Iran and does not speak Farsi . Her parents were divorced and she grew up with her mother and sister in Vienna's 7th  district, Neubau .

Golpashin studied at the Vienna Conservatory . Before the first year of training she was a. for a Trautmann and a Kommissar Rex episode in front of the camera. In her second year of training she was brought in front of the camera by Robert Dornhelm for the historical two-parter Crown Prince Rudolf's Last Love as his wife Princess Stephanie of Belgium , for which she was awarded the Romy TV Prize in 2007 in the female shooting star category.

In 2008 she made the acquaintance of Paulus Manker , who brought her on stage as Alma Mahler for his polydrama Alma-a Show Biz at the end of Joshua Sobol . She gave the title role for the first time in the Kurhaus Semmering , followed by two further productions in the former Vienna kuk Post and Telegrafenamt . In 2010 this role also took her to Jerusalem , where she played the role of Alma at the side of Paulus Manker.

Since 2010 she has been a permanent member of the theater in der Josefstadt . She made her debut under the direction of Artistic Director Herbert Föttinger as Leopoldine Schrabacher in Peter Turrini's and Silke Hassler's KZ Volksoperetta Each his own . At the same time, she played her first leading role in the cinema alongside Christoph Luser for Lotus Film in the title Still Life , which was completed in January 2011. In 2014 she lent her German and English voices to the main character who gave it the title for the animated series Lilli the Witch . The film was shown at the Hamburg Film Festival. With Rosa von Praunheim and Dietrich Kuhlbrodt she made the film Mother , in which she played a mother who repeatedly gave birth to herself. In the 2016/17 season she will take on the role of Adele in the premiere of Monsieur Claude and his daughters at the Theater in der Josefstadt, directed by Folke Braband . The public hit was and taken over in the 2017/18 season. In the same year she took the title role as a girl from the suburb of Johann Nepomuk Nestroy under the direction of Michael Schottenberg . In the fiction documentary by Fritz Kalteis, she is the last Empress of Austria, Empress Zita in "Der Verrat des Kaisers", alongside Raphael von Bargen in front of the camera. In 2017 she worked again with Marvin Kren for the rural crime thriller : Grenzland , which premiered at the Diagonale 2018 in Graz. In 2019 she stood in front of the camera for the 8-part miniseries Freud (Netflix, Bavaria, ORF). She plays Sigmund Freud's sister Anna. Again Marvin Kren is directing.

Golpashin is the younger sister of TV presenter Doris Golpashin .
