Doris Golpashin (born August 17, 1980 in Grieskirchen ) is an Austrian television presenter , actress and radio presenter .

Life

Doris Golpashin is the daughter of an Iranian († 2011) and an Austrian with Iranian roots, her younger sister Daniela is also an actress. However, she has never been to Iran and does not speak Farsi . Her parents are divorced and she grew up with her mother and sister in Vienna's 7th  district, Neubau .

At the age of 17, Golpashin began her career in 1998 as Austria's youngest presenter at the private radio station 88.6 (1998–2000 I love you ). After training as an actor, she was briefly seen in the ensemble at the Theater an der Wien in Anatevka with Karl Merkatz in 1996. She completed a degree in scriptwriting at the Vienna Film School. Then she was a radio presenter at 92.9 HITFM, until she signed ORF for ORF 1 Primetime, ORF 1 Movietime and Hitradio Ö3 . From 2001 to 2003 she presented the shows Club Ö3 , Saturday Night Fever and Liebe etc.

As a TV actress, she stood for the first time for Inspector Rex in front of the camera. In 2003 she switched to comedy for the Austrian private TV broadcaster ATV +. Here she was responsible for The Last of the Week . In the Gloria Theater in Vienna, Golpashin played alongside Gerald Pichowetz in the plays Boeing-Boeing and Oscar . She presented the Kronehit Charts weekly for the Austrian version of RTL II , MTV and VIVA .

In January 2009 she started on the Austrian private TV channel Puls 4 with the daily society program PINK! . Every Wednesday evening, Golpashin also moderated the live talk show VIP Club on PULS 4, where she discussed the events of the week with prominent guests. In March 2010, Golpashin heralded the countdown to Expo 2010 in Shanghai. Then she was in the comedy show Was Enjoy Germany in April 2010.

From September 24th 2010 to January 28th 2011 she hosted the casting show Heroes of Tomorrow . On March 15, 2011, she switched to ORF to present the magazine Direkt . On April 16, 2011, she hosted the television broadcast of the Romy Awards . She herself was nominated in the category Best Show Presenter . On May 21, 2011, Golpashin hosted the Vienna Life Ball alongside Marco Schreyl . In autumn 2011 she presented the talent show The Great Opportunity . From August 2011 to 2014 she was a backstage presenter in the first four seasons of The Voice of Germany for ProSieben and Sat 1 . In 2017 she was a candidate in the quiz show Spiel für dein Land, together with DJ Ötzi and Alex Kristan .

Since October 2019 she can be seen as airport manager Sabine at the streaming service Joyn in the comedy series Check Check .

In 2012 it became known that Golpashin is in a relationship with the presenter, actor and singer Klaas Heufer-Umlauf . In April 2013, the couple's first child was born. The second followed in 2018. They live together in Berlin.

In April 2010 their first single Semper Semper was released . She re-recorded the number one hit together with original singer Al Bano - due to a lost bet that took place during a TV interview.

  • For her role as Chou Chou in Thomas Roth's film Falco - Damn we are still alive! Golpashin was nominated for the Undine cinema award in 2008 as best supporting actress, followed by a nomination for the Romy television award for best TV presenter in 2009 .

  • In the series Check Check she plays alongside her partner Klaas Heufer-Umlauf , who is also one of three producers of the series.
