Alex Kristan
Alex Kristan , actually Alexander Kristan , (born April 24, 1972 in Mödling ) is an Austrian comedian, cabaret artist and voice imitator .
Life
Alex Kristan first attended the college in Kalksburg , followed by training at the Vienna Advertising Academy. He then worked as a brand manager for a car manufacturer and reported for two years as a reporter for Austrian private radio stations on Formula 1 , where he met Heinz Prüller , Niki Lauda and Gerhard Berger, among others . In addition, he completed a year-long speaker training course.
He has been a parodist and comedian since 2003. In 2004 he was the winner of the talent show Austria seeks the comedy star on ATV forth. In the ORF broadcast What's new? he has been part of the advice team since 2008. In 2010, together with Roman Szeliga , he designed the cabaret program Ärztlich Willkommen! , which premiered at the StadtTheater walfischgasse under the direction of Nadja Maleh . In 2012 he premiered his first solo cabaret program Jetlag for Beginners in the Orpheum Vienna , with which he could also be seen at the Vienna Cabaret Festival and as part of the ORF summer cabaret . In Candid Camera? In 2014 he parodied the voices of Franz Beckenbauer , Niki Lauda, Andreas Herzog and Toni Polster . His second solo program followed in January 2015, Heimvorteil , with which he could also be seen at the Vienna Cabaret Festival and on ORF.
In 2017 he was a guest in two editions of ORF breakfast television, Guten Morgen Österreich , in January in Haus im Ennstal (Styria) and in April in Ampflwang in Hausruckwald (Upper Austria). In March 2017 he took part as a celebrity candidate in the program Quizmaster on ServusTV , in October 2017 in a celebrity special of the Millionenshow and in November 2017 in Spiel für dein Land - The Biggest Quiz in Europe . The third solo program Lebhaft - Rotzpipn forever! premiered in October 2017 at the Orpheum Vienna and was shown in June 2019 as part of the ORF summer cabaret.
In May 2018 he performed together with Lukas Resetarits , Klaus Eckel , Omar Sarsam and Martina Schwarzmann in the Wiener Stadthalle as part of the “Cabaret Summit ”. In December 2019 he could be seen again alongside Resetarits, Sarsam, Andreas Vitásek and BlöZinger as part of the cabaret summit on ORF.
The voices parodied by Kristan include those of Heinz Prüller, Niki Lauda, Franz Beckenbauer, Andreas Herzog and Toni Polster as well as those of Herbert Prohaska , Frenkie Schinkels , Jogi Löw and Arnold Schwarzenegger . With his parodies he could also be heard in the Ö3-Wecker .
