Blockbuster - Das Leben ist ein Film is a charity feature film by the Austrian director Vlado Priborsky from 2015, the entire proceeds of which will be donated to St. Anna Children's Cancer Research. Numerous Austrian prominent actors as well as the entire crew volunteered for the project. The premiere was on June 30, 2015 at the Gartenbaukino in Vienna . The film premiered in Germany in 2016 at the 50th Hof International Film Festival.

At the age of 12, Vlado (Wolfgang Rauh) came to Vienna from the Czech Republic with his parents. Little by little he discovered the western world and an inexhaustible treasure trove of feature films. This passion gave rise to the desire to make short films myself - and the idea of ​​a feature film soon matured.

This lifelong dream manifests itself in the chance encounter with a well-known Austrian director (Harald Sicherheitsitz). But life holds some challenges in store: diagnosis of cancer at the age of 26, loss of a child, loss of friends. But Vlado never lets himself be dissuaded from his dream, one day, against all odds, to see the title of his movie on the screen: Blockbuster!

The shooting of the film took place between May and December 2014 in Vienna and Lower Austria.

The title song "New Life" was composed by rapper Royal in collaboration with second wife singer Diana Lueger.

The film has been shown at several international festivals and has won seven awards and four nominations.
