Thomas Nash (born October 14, 1979 in Vienna ) is an Austrian actor, speaker and screenwriter.

Live and act

Thomas Nash attended the Vienna Film School from 1998 to 2000, specializing in stage and media acting. He began to write scripts during his training. In 2011 he became known to a larger audience in Austria for his role as Dramshit Mandani in AMS - Mutris Welt , a 10-part TV series for ORF directed by Paul Harather . This was followed by roles in the German movie Up to the Horizon, then Left! by Bernd Böhlich , who received the audience award at the Mecklenburg-Vorpommern Film Festival in 2012 , the US fantasy fairy tale Grimm's Snow White and The Last Dance by Houchang Allahyari , who won the Great Diagonale Film Award 2014 for Best Austrian Feature Film. With Allahyari, Nash also made the movie Rocco and the game documentary Die Verrückte Welt der Ute Bock . In 2013 he received the script development award of the city of Salzburg (2nd place) for his feature film exposé Wolkenbruch.

In 2013 the Austrian Film Festival dedicated a retrospective of short films made between 2009 and 2013 to Thomas Nash, for which he wrote the script and in which he also played. He is one of the interviewees in the TV documentary Punch Line - A woman climbs into the ring , whom he accompanied as a dramaturge and for whom he composed the music.
