Kupetzky (TV show)

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Kupetzky was a broadcast by Austrian radio on ORF Eins as part of Thursday night .

The broadcast

Kupetzky cannot be clearly assigned to a genre. According to ORF, the program is a mixture of advice infotainment and fiction format. Kupetzky moves in a space without time or place, in a parallel universe, so to speak. At the beginning of the show, Kupetzky is on the street with his black Cadillac . A woman's voice called "Carla" on the radio yells "K rrr upetzky", whereupon Kupetzky usually corrects his name. The voice in the radio then mediates between Kupetzky and a person in need. He's a full-time problem solver. No matter what problem one of his customers has, Kupetzky can solve it.

The character of Kupetzky is based on film heroes such as "Mr. Fixit" from " Wag the Dog " and "Mr. Wolfe" from " Pulp Fiction ". The background music is mainly provided with songs by Elvis Presley , Kupetzky's great role model.

Optical processing

The show is characterized by fast cuts and soft tracking shots. The individual settings are as different as the location of the action. The car trips are implemented in a bluebox . Well-established backgrounds are, for example, escalator rides , motorway journeys, crazy landscapes and well-known landmarks . Furthermore, animated backgrounds can sometimes be seen. The location "gas station", which can be seen in many episodes, is in Gaaden (Lower Austria).
